Tile and Grout Cleaning and Sealing

Our truck mounted equipment was designed specifically to clean hard surfaces and it provides sufficient heat and pressure to properly do the job. Our unit can provide both high heat (up to 200 degrees) and contained high pressure (up to 3000psi) simultaneously. Therefore, not only cleaning but also sanitizing the tile and the grout. In addition, our technicians are trained to identify the surface correctly and clean your surface without causing damage. We serve all of Southwest Michigan. Cities including Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Holland and South Haven.

Clear sealing grout and stone

After your surface is cleaned it’s a good idea to also seal the grout on porcelain and ceramic and also seal many natural stone tiles. We can conduct a test to determine if your stone should be sealed and we’ll be happy to explain just how we make that determination. Clear sealing grout provides you with more time to clean up the spill before it becomes a stain. The sealer fills the microscopic pores of the grout so that the spill can’t actually enter the grout pores. It’s a little like trying to add more water to a full glass. You can splash it on the surface but it doesn’t go beneath because it’s already full.

Color sealing (grout staining and sealing)

Color sealing your grout goes a step beyond clear sealing. It not only protects the pores of the grout it leaves a new topical coating on top so that the grout is impervious to surface stains. Colorsealing also makes your grout look new again. Years of staining and using the wrong cleaning products can leave your grout splotchy and ugly even after it’s cleaned. Once the pigmentation is gone from the grout it cannot be cleaned back to its original appearance. By adding the topical coating on top of the grout in any color you choose, the surface is renewed to a like new appearance. The results can be dramatic. Why replace your grout and endure the dusty mess when you can have new looking grout in one day?

Topical coatings removal and application

Many surfaces have topical coatings applied that need maintenance and replacement. Penetrating sealers are designed to penetrate into the stone or grout while topical coatings are designed to be applied to the surface of the tile. While we certainly don’t recommend this for ceramic and porcelain tile, there are a variety of other surfaces that benefit from this process. We can remove old coatings and reapply new ones or simply return your tile to its natural state. Just ask us how this service could benefit your surfaces.

Our cleaning system is proven to return your hard floor tile, grout, natural stone, marble, ceramic, porcelain, concrete, travertine or slate to a like new clean. Our sealing treatment protects the clean grout and helps the grout to stay cleaner longer and to resist spills and stains.

The problem:
Smooth hard surfaces like tile, marble, travertine, slate, ceramic, porcelain, concrete and natural stone can become scratched, stain and dulled from daily abrasion creating micro hiding places for dirt, oils and bacteria.  Conventional cleaning methods, for the most part, don’t truly work.  Mopping simply takes the dirt from the top of the tile and deposits it in the low lying grout lines where the water evaporates sealing the dry and crusty dirt and germs in the floor.

The Solution:
The power of using pressurized water and proper green chemicals along with our state-of-the-art cleaning system is the answer. The force of the water can seek out unwanted grime that is hidden in microscopic pockets displacing the deposits and stripping them along with the chemical residues and bacteria. Thus, you have a virtual one pass cleaning process.

Often, just cleaning your concrete, tile and grout stain will return it to its original appearance. If not, then our color seal process can enhance the beauty of your worn out looking grout without the expense of a replacement floor. We have many colors to choose from and match almost all grout manufacturers colors.
